Hockey Jersey Thief Strikes Again

BUFFALO, NY - A couple of burglars in West Seneca were caught in the act when the owner of a home on Orchard Park Road entered his house about five o'clock Thursday evening. When the owner walked in the burglars fled in a getaway vehicle with various items from the home including a shotgun.

Fortunately, the homeowner was able to get a good description of the vehicle and that helped West Seneca Police arrest 21-year-old Samuel Beavers.

Beavers was out on bail after being arrested in connection with the theft of a valuable hockey jersey earlier this month.

Buffalo Police were able to locate the second suspect and arrested 27-year-old Nicholas Boaz. The shotgun and various other items from the home were recovered.

Both suspects are in custody and charged with felony burglary, grand larceny, and possession of stolen property.
